Belstaff’s association with the show began over 15 years ago, with the first series ‘Long Way Round’
What started with Belstaff dressing the team off the bike, developed into the creation of the ‘Long Way Down’ adventure suit. At the time the design was ground breaking in both features and style and ignited the publics desire for adventure riding.
With the announcement of the new ‘Long Way Up’ series, Belstaff will once again bring style & safety to the teams journey.
As the shows bikes have evolved to be fully electric the garments have also evolved to provide higher levels of protection, functionality and adaptability.
Belstaff owner, Sir Jim Ratcliffe believes Belstaff should be pushing the boundaries of its motorcycle range and that the partnership with the ‘Long Way’ fits perfectly with the brands ethos of adventure, innovation, authenticity and style.
The collaboration begins with a capsule collection of clothing designed for & inspired by the teams latest adventure ‘Long Way Up’.
Both Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman were heavily involved in creating the garments to not only perform and protect whist riding, but also to represent their own individual style.
The Collection comprises both Motorcycle performance & non- protective ‘Mainline’ garments that will be worn throughout the filming and promotion of the series.
